SYNOPSIS
Rikuo Nura lives a double life. By day, he's an ordinary middle schooler navigating homework and friendship drama. Peace finally settles over his world after brutal conflicts with rival yokai factions, and Rikuo hopes for a moment to breathe. That reprieve shatters when Haguromo-Gitsune, a legendary nine-tailed fox sealed away four centuries ago, awakens with catastrophic power. The ancient demon doesn't just target Rikuo: she marches through Kyoto with an army of subordinates, threatening to consume the entire supernatural hierarchy and remake the yokai world under her control. Suddenly, Rikuo must choose between the normal life he craves and his inherited duty to protect both his clan and the humans around him. The series blends supernatural action with personal conflict as Rikuo grapples with destiny, legacy, and what it means to lead when the stakes keep rising.
