These shorts are pure Tsucchi chaos unfiltered from the main show's plot deadlines. Comedy that doesn't need setup lands harder when the character is already broken, already loveable, already running on pure manic energy. The show gives you permission to laugh at the same person getting destroyed four different ways. Occult Academy's real weapon was always its side character, not the mystery. These specials prove it. If you watched the series and wondered why the best moments weren't in it, here's the answer: they were waiting on the DVD.

Occult Academy gets four short comedic extras, each one packed with a home video volume of the main supernatural series. Every episode puts Tsucchi in its title: Yoroshiku Tsucchi, Nakayoshi Tsucchi, Gambare Tsucchi and Sayonara Tsucchi, released in turn with volumes two through five of the DVD and Blu-ray set. They are a light bonus for viewers already collecting the show.
