A bonus episode for people who already know Kusaka's marshmallow fixation is just cover for Wakabayashi's actual obsession. The joke doesn't need to reset, it lives in the space between what he eats and what she watches him eat. Three more minutes of a man completely missing the point is exactly what the original promised.

Habahiro Hige wakes up at his work desk and is shocked to find he has turned into a baby. Things get stranger when Iori Wakabayashi arrives dressed in a school uniform and has no idea the infant is him. Once she picks him up and holds him, Hige realizes he now thinks like a baby too, not just looks like one. The special is a comedic slice-of-life episode that never aired on television and was included with the home release of Ojisan to Marshmallow.
