Nobody talks about this one. A single minute of animation wrapped around a piano piece so deliberate it feels like watching someone think in real time, now mostly gone. The song doesn't try to be pretty or clever, it just exists, and the visuals follow without apology. If you've ever felt a piece of music nail something in you that words couldn't reach, this is what that looks like on screen.

Onboro Piano is a music video made for the song of the same name by Atsuoki Matsuo. The one-episode piece was featured on Minna no Uta, a program on NHK. The video is now regarded as lost media, so its footage is not known to survive.
