SYNOPSIS
Lawrence and Holo continue their journey northward, their partnership deepened by months of travel across treacherous roads and bustling trade towns. The merchant and the wisewolf have grown inseparable, yet their bond faces new tests as they push closer to Holo's distant homeland. Economic intrigue follows them wherever they go: shifting market prices threaten their finances, rival merchants scheme to undercut their trades, and powerful forces begin taking notice of a traveling pair whose luck seems unnaturally fortunate. Holo's true nature becomes harder to conceal as her wolf form occasionally slips into view, raising dangerous questions from those who would exploit or eliminate a legendary creature.
