Lawrence, a traveling merchant, and Holo the Wisewolf return in the second season of Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf. The first season began with Lawrence arriving at a village and meeting Holo, a girl with an animal's ears and tail who brings plentiful harvests. When she said she wanted to go home, he offered to take her, and the two formerly solitary travelers set off north together. The sequel carries on this fantasy adventure, which has a thread of romance.
