It opens by skipping the entire slow burn: Oscar climbs the witch's tower, wins, and immediately cashes in his prize by telling Tinasha to come down and marry him. That bluntness is the whole appeal. He's a prince with a sword that eats magic and zero patience for ceremony, she's a centuries-old witch who treats him like a kid and keeps deflecting the proposal while quietly rearranging his castle's wards. The show looks clean, almost no ugly CG, and that opening theme does more emotional lifting than some full episodes. Be warned: twelve episodes is nowhere near enough room for this light novel, so arcs land in fast-forward and the villain business wraps up before you've finished processing it. Watch it for the year-long contract in Farsas and two people negotiating a marriage neither will admit they want.
