Ookina Furudokei is the first Japanese-language version of My Grandfather's Clock, the 1876 song by American songwriter Henry Clay Work, presented as a music video on NHK's Minna no Uta. Sumito Tachikawa sings it together with the Miho Nagato Opera Children's Choir, and Rokurou Taniuchi provided the artwork. Copyright rules of the era, the expense of film reels and the reuse of tapes mean the 1962 video tape no longer exists, so the piece is regarded as lost media.
