A crossdressing comedy that actually commits to the bit instead of making it the entire joke. Mizuho doesn't spend twelve episodes apologizing for existing in a girls' school, he becomes genuinely part of the community, and the show treats his friendships and the romantic confusion around him as real stakes, not punchlines. The chemistry between characters is sharp enough that you believe the bonds forming, which means when the comedy lands, it lands because you care about these people, not because the premise is absurd.

Mizuho's grandfather leaves behind one final request in his will: attend the prestigious all-girls academy where his mother once studied. There's just one problem. Mizuho is male. With help from his childhood friend Mariya, he undergoes a complete transformation, trading his identity for a convincing disguise. At Seio he also gains an ally in Shion, a perceptive fellow student, and ends up guiding two younger girls, Yukari and Kana, alongside Mariya. He crosses paths with Takako, a traditional-minded longtime rival of Mariya's. Keeping up the act means mastering feminine speech and manners, and it only gets harder when he finds himself running for a school office. The result is a comedy, drama and romance built around one boy's effort to keep his secret while honoring his grandfather's wish.
