Anime Like OZ
A nuclear wasteland pretending to search for paradise while wrestling with what it actually means to be human. SYNOPSIS
After nuclear holocaust fractures America into warring territories, whispers spread of a legendary sanctuary called OZ, a place where civilization still thrives. Scientist Felicia becomes obsessed with finding it, convinced the city holds answers to humanity's survival. She assembles an unlikely crew: Muto, a hardened mercenary willing to cross hostile wastelands for the right price, and 1019, an android whose true loyalties remain unclear. Their journey cuts through irradiated deserts and abandoned infrastructure, each step drawing them deeper into a mystery that feels less like salvation and more like a trap. When they finally reach their destination, the paradise they expected crumbles into something far more sinister. OZ exists, but not as anyone imagined. Behind its walls sits a man wielding god-like power, and the revelation of what he's actually built forces Felicia and her team to question whether some discoveries demand a price too high to pay.
