The domed city of Romdo suffocates you with its own sterility. Every conversation Re-l and Vincent have circles back to what it means to exist when existence itself is manufactured, and the show refuses to give you easy answers or even conventional plot momentum to distract from the weight of that question. The middle section drags like a deliberate punishment, forcing you to sit with dread and ambiguity until you stop expecting resolution and start asking whether resolution even matters. What you're left with is a show that works backward through your brain on the second watch, revealing that every quiet moment was loading a symbolic gun. This is not a story that resolves. It's a philosophy that swallows you.

In the sealed dome city of Romdo, order cracks under the weight of inexplicable violence and a spreading virus that corrupts the androids serving human citizens. Detective Re-l Meyer pursues leads through the chaos, but her investigation spirals into something far stranger when a peculiar immigrant named Vincent Law vanishes and a terrifying creature appears before her. Re-l finds herself drawn deeper into a mystery that challenges everything she understands about her world: what is this creature, and why does it keep leading her back to Vincent? Her search eventually takes her beyond the dome, joining Vincent on his journey across a ravaged, empty Earth toward another dome city called Mosk. Along the way they learn more about the monster and the awakening, which may prove to be an ending rather than a beginning.
