Ozmafia is a show that doesn't care if you understand what's happening, and that's the whole point, it's a color palette and a feeling, not a story. The chibi animation turns every scene into something soft enough to sink into, and the characters exist to be around, not to solve anything or reach anywhere. If you played the game, you already know why you're here; if you didn't, you're watching someone else's comfort show, and that's okay too.

Fuuka has lost her memory. As she wanders through a town she does not recognize, she notices that someone is chasing her, and she is rescued by the Oz family, one of the mafia clans that control the town. Here friendship and fighting sit side by side, and Fuuka has to choose whose offer of help to take. Hanging over everything is one question: why can she not remember anything at all? The short episodes blend comedy with fantasy in a town run by rival families.
