The opening throws you into freefall, one minute Oz is a boy with everything, the next he's falling into hell for a crime he didn't commit and can't remember. Alice hauls him back out of the dark, and from that moment forward, the show knows exactly what it's asking: how do you stay human when the world decides you're already damned? The pacing collapses under its own weight in the back half, stretching thin mysteries into something close to unbearable. What saves it is that you never stop caring about Oz pulling himself back from the abyss, one broken memory and one impossible friendship at a time.

Oz Vessalius lives as a privileged noble and heir to a duke house, sheltered by wealth and status until his coming-of-age ceremony at fifteen shatters everything. The Baskerville Clan interrupts the ceremony and casts him into the Abyss, a dangerous prison he had always believed was only a folktale. Rescue arrives in an unexpected form: Alice, a Chain known as the Bloodstained Black Rabbit. Helped by Alice and by members of a secret organization called Pandora, Oz sets out to learn why these strange events have overtaken his life, and he begins to sense that his existence may mean far more than he imagined. The result is a supernatural fantasy adventure.
