SYNOPSIS
New York, 1928. The glittering Jazz Age hides something rotten beneath its surface: demonic creatures called Sinners are infesting the city, preying on the innocent. The Magdalane Order fights back with exorcists trained to hunt them down, and among their ranks are two unlikely partners: Rosette, a reckless nun with more attitude than protocol, and Chrono, a mysterious demon bound to her side by contract. Rosette has her own agenda. Her brother vanished years ago, and she'll chase any lead, interrogate any suspect, and risk any danger to find him. Chrono follows her into chaos, their partnership burning hot with unspoken connection and buried secrets. But every job they take, every demon they banish, peels back another layer of their pasts. The closer Rosette gets to answers about Joshua, the more she discovers that nothing in their world is as simple as good versus evil. Action, romance, and supernatural mystery collide as their investigation spirals deeper into darkness.
