Pankun is a young panda with one major problem: he absolutely despises bamboo. Trapped in a life that demands he eat nothing but leaves, he makes a break for it and stumbles into TanPan Town, a bizarre settlement where nothing quite follows the rules of the outside world. There he meets Shokupan and Koppepan, two fellow runaways equally fed up with their expected destinies. Together, this misfit trio navigates a strange landscape filled with quirky characters and impossible situations. Each one is running from something, searching for something, or both. The town itself seems designed to test them, with mysteries around every corner and adventures that shift between heartwarming and genuinely weird. What emerges is a story about breaking free from who others expect you to be. Pankun's hatred of bamboo becomes less about diet and more about refusing to accept a predetermined path. TanPan Town becomes less about location and more about finding your people, the ones who get it.
