The opening guitar doesn't announce itself. It just settles into your chest like something you've always known, and the song builds around a small, true thing: a parent singing to put their child to sleep. There's no narrative twist waiting, no hidden melancholy underneath the gentleness. What hits is the refusal to complicate tenderness. One episode is all this needs to be.
