A phantom thief who clocks out at the convenience store to plan heists in a basement hideout. The joke writes itself, over and over, because the show never stops finding new angles on the same premise. Every episode is a short, sharp comedy loop: incompetent cops bumbling next door while Reinya's plans either work too well or fall apart in ways that shouldn't be funny but absolutely are.

By day, Reinya looks like an ordinary girl working at the Faminya convenience store, even wearing its signboard. In truth she is the Phantom Thief Reinya, a thief of urban legend. From a secret hideout beneath the store, she and her trusty mouse assistant Chuutarou hatch plans to steal all kinds of gold treasures. Standing in their way is an inept trio from the police station right beside the shop: a perverted inspector, an airheaded policewoman and a detective who is completely infatuated with Reinya. Adapted from a nonsensical four-panel comedy manga, this short-format comedy plays her whimsical escapades against the police force's bumbling attempts to catch her.
