Nobody talks about the music videos that slip through NHK's children's program slot, but this one stays with you. The song does the work, it's the kind of simple, unfussy melody that settles into your chest and doesn't ask for anything back. You watch once for the visual comfort. You come back because the music keeps playing in your head.

Picnic is a single-episode music video created to accompany the song of the same name. The clip appeared on Minna no Uta, a program broadcast by NHK.
