Aragaki Yui's voice carries a weight that animation alone couldn't hold. The visuals don't just accompany the song, they move through it, finding the quiet spaces between lyrics where real emotion lives. This is what happens when a musician's presence is so complete that every frame becomes necessary.

An animated music video for Aragaki Yui's song "Piece," produced by Studio Ghibli and directed by Momose Yoshiyuki, who also made three Ghibli music video shorts for the group Capsule. A young woman snaps the heel of her shoe and goes looking for a new pair. Once she finds shoes she likes, she heads into the city center and enjoys herself quietly in a world of bright, joyful color.
