A family gathers for a birthday celebration one evening. The mother is worn out from work and wants nothing more than to open a beer as soon as she can. The father is restless and keeps checking the clock. Their little girl races around the house, thrilled about the lavish dinner ahead. Then the intercom rings, and waiting outside is someone presented as a new member of the family. POP POP CITY is a single-episode ONA built around that one night.
