A cat so round he becomes the entire emotional center of a family without ever trying. Poyo doesn't perform or demand, he just exists in his perfect sphere, and everyone orbits him. This is the show you watch when you need to remember that happiness doesn't require a plot, just a creature small enough to fit in your hands and a family willing to reorganize their lives around him.

Moe Sato's ordinary life takes a turn when she stumbles across an adorably round stray cat and decides to bring him home. She names him Poyo for the obvious reason: he is shaped like a plump cushion. Poyo soon becomes a beloved part of the Sato household, which also includes Moe's high schooler brother Hide and their farmer father Shigeru. The short episodes trade big story arcs for gentle comedy about small everyday adventures with a cat who is mysterious, surprisingly quick, a strong jumper, sweet natured and even fond of baths. If you enjoy shows where plot takes a backseat to warmth and silly moments, Poyopoyo delivers exactly that.
