Kuruneko is a short-format comedy adapted from a manga, centered on a group of cats and their owner, whose great love is sake. Across 50 brief episodes that aired in 2009, it takes a slice-of-life approach, drawing its humor from the ordinary days shared by the pets and the drink-loving person who looks after them.
