A girl and her cat share four episodes that feel like four seasons of a life together. The cat watches her work minimum wage jobs, fail at interviews, come home exhausted, and somehow that small routine becomes everything. You'll miss it the moment it ends because nothing happens, yet everything has changed.

A young woman called Kanojo and her cat Daru have grown up together and are never apart. Now a college junior, she loses her roommate of a year and a half, Tomoka, who moves out of their shared apartment. To hold on to her home, Kanojo has to find a job. Day after day, Daru observes her efforts from a cat's point of view and waits eagerly for her to come back. When she returns, it is once more just the two of them.
