The sequel doubles down on what the first film got right: baseball is funnier when you're trapped in a locker room with these guys than when you're watching the field. This one keeps the live-action-to-animation bleeding, keeps the anecdotes flowing like a veteran halfway through his second beer, keeps the chaos of real athletes being real idiots.
