Pucca operates on pure cartoon logic where a girl's relentless pursuit of a ninja becomes an excuse to demolish the laws of physics every single episode. Garu runs, she catches him through sheer will and noodle-based weaponry. The show never stops moving long enough to question why any of this is happening, which is exactly the point.

Pucca, the energetic young daughter of a Chinese noodle house owner, is hopelessly in love with Garu, a ninja who wants nothing to do with her relentless romantic pursuit. She will try almost anything to steal a kiss, and Garu works hard to keep out of her reach, though he does not always manage to resist. Their constant chase sets off one comical situation after another, pulling in everything from noodles to deadly ninjas. The episodes often parody movies, games and other animation, and this TV version adds spoken dialogue to a character who first appeared in a silent web series.
