Sato Takahiro, an ordinary office worker who games in his spare time, wakes up aboard a spaceship that looks just like a craft from a space-shooter he loved. The ship is heavily upgraded, and a universe of star battles, colonies and deep-space danger lies ahead of him. Taking the name Hiro, he decides to make the most of his luck and live freely as a mercenary, with the goal of one day owning a house of his own. His new line of work pits him against space pirates and has him rescuing girls, and trouble is never far away. Along the way he gathers a crew of attractive women. The show blends sci-fi action and mecha with comedy, drama and romance.
