Chris Redfield of the BSAA sets out to stop an arms dealer driven by revenge who intends to unleash a lethal virus on New York. To do it, he recruits government agent Leon S. Kennedy and Rebecca Chambers, a professor at the Alexander Institute of Biotechnology. The film blends action, horror and science fiction as the three work to keep the outbreak from spreading through the city.
