A boy's uncle in America mails him a set of robot plans that are hard to make sense of. While building the machine, the boy gets part of the assembly wrong, and the robot that results turns out quite differently from what he expected. The result is a 1976 television comedy of fifty episodes, mixing everyday slice-of-life moments with lighthearted adventure as the boy deals with the consequences of his mistake.
