A nameless boy with a power he doesn't understand arrives at exactly the moment a stubborn old man and his granddaughter need him most. The real conflict isn't between magic and machinery, it's between the people who refuse to disappear and a world that's built to forget them. In one episode, this OVA does what full series fail at: it finds the humanity in people fighting to stay rooted when everything around them is being paved over. The boy's mystery never gets solved, his power never gets explained, and that's exactly why it matters. He's just there. That's enough. Sometimes the only magic worth having is showing up for people who've already decided they belong somewhere.

A boy with an unexplained power meets a nomad girl and her grandfather at a difficult moment. A construction company is closing in on their land and encroaching on the place they live. The mysterious boy uses his gift to help the pair stand their ground against the company. Roku no Sekai is a one-episode adventure OVA released in 2014.
