In 1926, Major Tanya Degurechaff and her 203rd Air Mage Battalion come home after beating the last of the Republic's forces in the south. Instead of rest, they get new orders: find out what lies behind a large troop buildup on the border with the Russy Federation, which is preparing to join the war. At the same time, a volunteer force of magicians led by the Allied Kingdom arrives to support the Federation. Among them is Mary Sioux, a young girl who has vowed to make the Empire pay for her father's death. Any escalation could turn the conflict into a world war. The film is an action fantasy set against this widening struggle.
