Sakamoto Part 2 stops apologizing for being a stylish action show and just commits to the bit. Every fight sequence moves like it's being conducted by someone who actually understands how bodies work in space, not just how to stack keyframes. The comedy lands harder because it knows when to shut up and let a perfectly timed elbow strike do the talking.

Taro Sakamoto, a legendary former hitman, has fought off wave after wave of assassins since a huge bounty was placed on his head, yet he still cannot settle into an easy life with the family he loves. Now a shadowy, notorious figure called Slur has brought a band of deranged death row inmates to Japan, killers who stop at nothing to finish a job. Sakamoto is far from their only target: the convicts have orders to eliminate others as well, including Shin Asakura and Lu Shaotang, the new employees at his convenience store. Things grow even more dangerous when the Order, a group made up of Japan's most capable assassins, joins the fray. As the inmates spread chaos, Sakamoto and his allies have to stay on guard to protect everything they care about. This second part of the ONA mixes action with comedy across 11 episodes.
