Nina accidentally ate the Crystal Pearl they need to pass their test, so Zero and Ichii are stuck protecting the girl who ruined everything, except protecting her turns out to be the actual point. The show knows it's running the same joke thirteen times and leans into it anyway, letting you fall for the same three characters over and over because the chemistry between them is what matters. If you need beautiful animation or plot momentum, this isn't it. If you want to spend thirteen episodes watching two magical boys slowly realize they're competing to be the one who cares about a girl more, you already know why this exists.

Nina's ordinary life gets turned upside down when two young sorcerers literally crash into her world. Zero and Ichii are competing in a magical exam where success means finding a rare Crystal Pearl, but there's one problem: Nina accidentally swallowed it while thinking it was candy. Now the three of them are stuck together, with Zero and Ichii sworn to keep her safe while they figure out how to retrieve the pearl from her stomach. What starts as Nina's romantic fantasy of having devoted protectors quickly becomes chaos. Other sorcerers hunting for the same prize won't hesitate to target her, forcing constant escapes and desperate improvisation. Between rival contestants and the embarrassment of showing up at school with two handsome boys at her heels, Nina discovers that her dream come true is messier and scarier than she imagined. The show balances lighthearted comedy with genuine stakes, mixing cute romantic moments against actual danger. It's perfect if you want something that doesn't take itself too seriously but still delivers real tension underneath the humor.
