A bunch of samurai girls get yeeted into modern Tokyo and immediately become obsessed with convenience stores and escalators. Each episode is its own complete joke, which means the show never wastes time explaining why a Sengoku warlord is freaking out over a vending machine. The art won't win awards, but the comedy timing and character chemistry make that irrelevant within two minutes of any episode.

In a parallel timeline, the warlords of the Warring States period compete for power, but they share only their names with the figures of our history: their looks, personalities and gender differ, and every one of them appears as a high school girl. One day Oda Nobunaga, and then the others, are accidentally pulled into present-day Tokyo. Bicycles, cell phones and automatic doors are all completely new to them. Each episode centers on a single general as she learns to adjust to modern life, and along the way these displaced samurai become close friends. Based on Konami's social game of the same name, this fantasy series draws its story from warriors of a medieval era meeting the modern world.
