Yuuichirou's choice fractures everything you thought mattered. He has the power to save Mika, but using it means becoming the weapon of the people hunting vampires, the same institution that made Mika what he is. The show doesn't pretend there's a clean answer, and neither does it let you hide behind one.

Yuuichiro is finally reunited with Mikaela, his childhood friend whom he believed dead, only to learn that Mikaela has become a vampire. Determined to save him and to protect his comrades, Yuuichiro trains to master his Cursed Gear while searching for a way to turn vampires back into humans. Meanwhile, Kureto Hiiragi warns Guren Ichinose that the main vampire force will strike Tokyo in a month. To act first, Kureto sends Guren to Nagoya, and Yuuichiro's Shinoa squad is among the teams chosen to hunt down the vampire nobles gathering there. As the mission nears, the squad works on its weapons and teamwork, and Yuuichiro must grow strong enough before the demon inside his Cursed Gear overtakes him.
