A group of ordinary people from many walks of life suddenly find themselves in the Land of Finality. They are caught in a ten-day cycle of life and death, and their memories are erased each time it resets. The only way out is to risk their lives in lethal games run by the Twelve Zodiacs, which demand mind games, strength and wits against both the hosts and the other players. Qi Xia, who first arrives by way of a strange interview room, is consumed by one goal: getting back to reality to rescue his wife from looming danger. As the cycles repeat, a supernatural power called Echo starts to awaken in some players, and Qi Xia and his companions begin to recover memories that were sealed away. Along the way they start to uncover the dangerous truth about this world, and Qi Xia finds that his own ties to it may go back much further than he knew.
