Zhang Chulan walks into a graveyard as a nobody and walks out marked for something bigger than survival. The show trashes its own premise halfway through, abandoning the zombie-school-life setup for a sprawling conspiracy of martial arts cults, psychic powers, and mystery boxes stacked on mystery boxes. Animation crumbles when it matters most, but the action sequences that do land hit with genuine weight, and the plot actually gets smarter as it goes deeper, rewarding anyone stubborn enough to stick with it past the rough opening.
SYNOPSIS
Zhang Chulan is just another college student coasting through life until a routine walk through a graveyard goes catastrophically wrong. Jianshi attack him without warning, leaving him cornered and certain he's about to die. A mysterious girl wielding a sword materializes out of nowhere, saves his life, then vanishes before he can even thank her. That single moment shatters Zhang Chulan's ordinary existence. The supernatural doesn't stay hidden for long once you've seen it. Strange encounters multiply, and questions pile up faster than answers: Who was that girl? Why does the supernatural world suddenly feel like it's colliding with his? What connection does he have to forces he never knew existed? What starts as a confused teenager stumbling through a graveyard becomes something far larger. Zhang Chulan finds himself pulled into a hidden world where martial arts masters walk among the living, ancient secrets run deeper than anyone realizes, and his role in all this is far from random.
