The comedy here lives in sharp, rapid-fire banter that doesn't waste time on setup, it just fires and lands. These shorts exist for people who already love the core cast, and they understand that, so every joke assumes you've been paying attention to who these people are. The maid and girlfriend get shortchanged on screen time, but when the core trio starts talking, the sarcasm cuts hard enough to justify six episodes of bonus content.

Kujou-san no Doesu Soudan-Shitsu Anime-ban is a collection of six brief specials released in 2016 as extras on the Blu-ray and DVD volumes of Shomin Sample. The shorts mix comedy, ecchi and romance, and serve as bonus content for people who bought those home video editions.
