The show trusts that you already know these people. It doesn't recap their stories so much as return to them the way you'd flip through old photos with someone who was actually there. Ten years later, the worlds have stopped being enemies and started being neighbors, and love is just what happens when that wall comes down. The real pull isn't watching Rin choose again, it's watching five different futures exist at once, each one earned and each one impossible to pick between.

Set ten years after the original Shuffle! TV series, this twelve-episode recap shows a world where gods, demons and humans travel between realms as easily as people go abroad. Love between the three races has produced new families and worn down the wall that used to keep them apart. Rin Tsuchimi revisits his past and the events he shared with Lisianthus, Nerine, Kaede, Asa and Primula. Most of the run revisits the earlier 24 episodes, and the last episode is reported to be the only one with new material. Expect a mix of comedy, drama, fantasy, romance and ecchi.
