On a rainy night in Tokyo, Kimura Yu wanders the streets drenched to the bone. She has carried trauma since her parents were murdered, and now tragedy strikes again when Kanzaki, the counselor she depended on, is brutally killed. Out of the rain appears Takamizawa Kyosuke, a detective who rescues her. A police officer named Oki suspects Yu and keeps pressing his investigation, yet more killings follow one after another, as though the culprit were taunting him. Yu's classmate Mizuno drifts in and out of the edges of the case.
