A car crash steals everything from a newborn in the first five minutes, then the movie spends nineteen years showing you what a person becomes when they have no one left to become for. Orine's life begins with tragedy. Her parents die in a car accident while bringing her home from the maternity hospital as a newborn. Nineteen years later she is on the run from the police over an incident. Yuri Aoshima, a member of a shady organization, offers to help her escape if she goes to an experimental space station. For reasons no one explains, only Orine can enter the unmanned station. Waiting inside is her mother, Satomi, who appears as she was in her twenties. Yuri tells Orine to cut the station's power. She reluctantly begins placing the shutdown device, hoping it will solve the mystery and help her mother. Meanwhile mother and daughter make up for lost time. Yuri's true aim, Satomi's real identity and a man known as SENSEI, who is tied to taking over the station, deepen the mystery as Orine draws closer to the truth. Loss and family sit at the heart of this adventure drama film.
