Nobody expects much from an Anpanman movie. You get exactly what you came for: a kid watching their favorite bread hero solve a problem with kindness, no cynicism, no twist. Chibigon exists to remind you that a story about a flying baby dragon and a man made of red bean paste saving the day is enough. It costs nothing to believe in it. That simplicity is the whole point.
