Nobody's watching this one for narrative complexity. It's a Anpanman movie built on the exact formula that has worked since 1988: a kind character solves problems by being kind, the world rewards that choice, and you feel warm after. The animation moves when it needs to and stops when it doesn't. You come for the comfort of a character who has never disappointed you, and you leave having spent time in a place where doing the right thing actually works.
