When a major G1 race approaches, everyone involved scrambles toward victory through whatever means necessary, reasonable or otherwise. This four-part comedy pulls back the curtain on the mad scramble surrounding Japan's most prestigious horse racing event. The jockeys have their quirks, the horses have their attitudes, and the trainers have plans that somehow both brilliant and ridiculous in equal measure. Amid the genuine passion for winning sits the genuine absurdity of how people actually behave when money and pride are on the line.
