Sousou no Frieren returns for a third TV season, a fantasy adventure with a strong dramatic streak. Earlier entries follow Frieren, an elf mage who once helped defeat the Demon King and who now travels with the warrior Stark and the mage Fern. Last season, the party entered the perilous Northern Plateau and made its way toward Aureole, while Frieren kept trying to understand the humans whose lives pass so quickly beside her own.
