You Keika has fallen far from his family's exorcist legacy. Broke and desperate, he scrapes by telling fortunes and fixing computers. One night in a junkyard he crosses paths with Tanmoku Ki, a white-haired exorcist battling an evil spirit, and soon afterward a car accident leaves him dead and wandering as a ghost. Tanmoku Ki, who holds the title of 13th Youmeshi in China's highest-ranking exorcist family, offers him a deal: shelter from humans in exchange for serving as his spirit shadow and guarding him. Together they take on harmful spirits to protect the people around them. What begins as a master and servant arrangement slowly turns into a bond neither of them anticipated, with a quiet admiration growing between the two.
