Mikado has spent his whole life running from what he can see, and then Hiyakawa corners him into a job where avoidance becomes impossible. Bookstore clerk Kousuke Mikado has always been able to see spirits, and they terrify him, so he wears glasses to suppress the ability and pretends nothing is there. That changes when Rihito Hiyakawa, an eccentric exorcist with strong powers and weak social skills, decides the two were destined to meet. Hiyakawa pulls him into paranormal work, promising Mikado will lose his fears if he stays, and Mikado is embarrassed to find that exorcising alongside him feels strangely good. As the pair handle case after case, they run into a cold-blooded murder and a string of malicious curses that all lead back to one name: Erika Hiura. Adapted from a BL manga by Tomoko Yamashita, it blends drama, mystery and supernatural horror.
