Umika Konohoshi has been fascinated by aliens since childhood and dreams of one day traveling to space to befriend them. That fixation has left her labeled as odd, and her severe social anxiety makes talking to others a real struggle. She feels like an alien stuck on Earth with nowhere to belong. On her first day of high school, she meets classmate Yuu Akeuchi, who says she crash-landed on Earth and remembers nothing of her past. Umika wants to befriend her but lacks the confidence, until Yuu uses a strange power to reach into her mind, and a friendship begins that may help Umika toward her dreams. Adapted from a science fiction yuri four-panel manga by Ookuma Rasuko, the series mixes comedy, drama and slice of life.
