The cast has actual chemistry now, which means the jokes land harder because you actually care if Ken's ridiculous schemes blow up in his face. Season 2 strips away any pretense of plot and just lets these four girls dismantle his harem fantasies week after week, each of them knowing exactly how to wreck him. It's comedy built on character, not punchlines, which is why repeating a gag with these five still gets a laugh three episodes later.

Sugisaki Ken studied hard and earned top grades to win a seat on Hekiyou Private Academy's student council, where he sets out to build a harem from the four girls who serve alongside him. The president, Sakurano Kurimu, looks remarkably young. Secretary Akaba Chizuru is calm and gentle but deeply sadistic. Vice-president Shiina Minatsu is a fiery tomboy, and treasurer Shiina Mafuyu is delicate, lovely and hard to figure out. Their days together have been one long stretch of fun, but now graduation is approaching, and their easygoing time may be nearing its end. The ten-episode comedy is adapted from the light novels by Aoi Sekina.
