Nobody's making an anime about a drum obsessive and his mascot friend traveling to spread taiko worship, which means this show owns its own lane completely. Kotarou comes from Taiko Village and loves taiko drumming more than anything. Together with his partner Don-chan, he sets out for Omiko City, hoping to spread the wonders of taiko to the rest of the world. The result is a light comedy and slice-of-life story built around music, following one devoted drummer's campaign to share the instrument he adores.
