Taiyou yori mo Mabushii Hoshi 2 is the second season of the TV romance A Star Brighter Than the Sun. The earlier season introduced Sae Iwata, a girl a little tougher than most, who fell for the gentle smile of the delicate Kouki Kamishiro in elementary school. By junior high he had become a charming, popular teen who seemed beyond her reach, until the two landed on the sports festival committee together and her long-buried first love began to stir again. This season returns to their story.
