SYNOPSIS
Chris was an ordinary high school student worried about college applications. Then wings of pure light seized his spirit and yanked him into Byston Well, a realm caught between worlds where ancient magic still flows. A desperate tribe of enslaved people believe Chris is their prophesied liberator, the one who can shatter the chains binding them to tyranny. He has no idea what he's doing, no combat training, and no way home. But staying alive means learning fast. Chris must master the alien landscape, understand the strange magic surrounding him, and figure out whether he's actually the savior everyone thinks he is or just a confused teenager in way over his head.
