A normal kid gets dumped into a fantasy world for reasons nobody bothers explaining, and the OVA just... commits to the confusion. The English dub delivery is so sincere about the absurdity that you can't tell if you're watching incompetence or the world's most subtle parody. Three episodes of pure unhinged energy that works best with friends, where the real entertainment is everyone in the room hitting the same moment of "wait, what just happened?"
Chris Senshuu is an easygoing young man in his mid-twenties who still has not passed his college entrance exams. He fills his days with kendo, trips to his family's shrine and daydreams about his high school reunion. Then wings of light seize his spirit and carry him to Byston Well, an ancient world. There he becomes Garzey's Wing, a legendary holy warrior called upon by the Metomeus, an enslaved tribe, to lead their bloody uprising. Chris has no idea how to be a holy warrior, and his only weapon is a blunt sword pulled from a corpse. Meanwhile another Chris remains in the normal world, unable to affect events in Byston Well yet bound to his counterpart's fate. Staying alive means adapting fast among magical creatures and mysterious foreigners. The revolution demands blood, and it will not wait for him to feel ready.
